Main responsibilities
Position-holder is responsible to:
Management of general ledger
Assist in monthly, quarterly and year end closing/reporting process
Managing Intercompany accounts and reconciliations
Review profitability and revenue recognition of job accounts
Maintenance of key vendor accounts
Ensure all the accounting procedures and documents are strictly adhered to as per the company policies and procedures
Facilitate cross-functional cooperation
Maintain accounting records, supporting accordingly to local, Statutory and GIMS requirements
Assist in preparing reports and information for the Finance Manager as requested, as well as other tasks assigned from time to time.
Other supervisory activities wherever assigned as an area of responsibility.
QHSSE Responsibilities:
Take online safety e-learning
Following the safety trainings given from time to time by the QHSSE in charge
Adhering to fire drills
Assist in keeping the work space, safe from any hazards
Accountabilities
The position-holder will be measured against:
KPIs according to AOP
Cost Control efficiency
Receivables trend
Financial reporting deadlines
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
Bachelor degree in accounting/finance
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines for both processing tasks and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively
A good command of the English language (spoken and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Power Point
Additional preferences
Systematic and accurate nature.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Work location will be Piraeus, Greece.
